Jennifer Rene Psaki
Jennifer Rene Psaki is a American political adviser who was the 34th White House news secretary between 2021 and 221. As a member of the Democratic Party, she previously was a part of the Obama administration as the White House deputy press secretary (2009); the White House deputy communications director (2009-2011); the spokesperson of the United States Department of State (2013-2015) as well as the White House communications director (2015-2017. Psaki was a CNN political commentator from 2017 until 2020. Psaki began her career in 2001 with the re-election campaigns of Iowa Democrats Tom Harkin for the U.S. Senate and Tom Vilsack for governor. Psaki then was appointed the the deputy press secretary of John Kerry's 2004 presidential campaign. Psaki was communications director for Joseph Crowley, a U.S. Representative, and regional press secretary of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee from 2005 until the year 2006. Psaki returned in 2012 for political communication serving as the press secretary of President Obama’s 2012 campaign for reelection. [20] On February 11 13th, 2013, Psaki became the spokesperson for the United States Department of State. [20] There was speculation that Psaki was to replace Jay Carney, White House Press Secretary at the Department of State.[21However, Josh Earnest replaced Carney on May 30 the 30th of May, 2014. The White House welcomed her back to the White House in 2015 as the communications director, and she remained there until the closing of the Obama presidency
