Catherine Anne

 qaCatherine Anne O'Hara OOC (born March 4 1954), is a Canadian-American actor and comedian. O'Hara has been the recipient of many distinctions including a Genie Award and a Golden Globe Award. O'Hara also was awarded two Screen Actors Guild Awards, two Primetime Emmy Awards, six Canadian Screen Awards, and two Screen Actors Guild Awards. In 2018, O'Hara was appointed an Officer of Canada. In the year 2020, she received the Governor General's Performing Arts Performing Arts Artistic Achievement Award. O'Hara's first recognition as an actress while she was a part of The Second City improv comedy troupe in Toronto in 1974. She was part of the main cast on the sitcom Coming Up Rosie (1975-1978) together with John Candy and Dan Aykroyd. O'Hara was a part of Candy on the sketch comedy series Second City Television (1976-1984). She won praise from critics for both her writing abilities and acting and was awarded an Primetime Emmy Award, 1981 for Outstanding Writing for a Variety Series. O'Hara, Steve Carell and Dwayne Colbert were added to the Second City artistic board in 2022.
